Jacksonport Farmers Market Returns Tuesdays

The Jacksonport Area Business Association has just announced that their farmers market is scheduled to start up again this Tuesday, June 2nd. It will be held at Lakeside Park in downtown Jacksonport Tuesday mornings from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, weather permitting. These events are open to Door County vendors. To help control the spread of COVID-19, the market will have to be different this year. It is only open to food vendors providing essential foods such as uncooked produce, meats, cheeses, canned goods, and vegetable plants. Therefore, items such as coffee, crafts, jewelry, furniture, lawn art, and flowers will not be allowed until further notice. The purpose of this year’s market is to provide a food source for local and visiting guests. It will also provide an avenue for local producers to sell their locally sourced food items. Also, vendors will have an extra table in front of their display as a barrier and guests may not touch products until after they are purchased. Vendors will be washing their hands regularly and only new bags from the vendors will be used. Guests and vendors will be asked to wear masks. Children are not encouraged to attend, and they ask that you please leave your pets at home.
