Sheriff Vogel confirmed Sunday that the body of Alisha Bromfield was found in a room at the Sand Bay Beach Resort Suites and Cottages. The couple from Plainfield, Illinois were in Door County to attend a wedding at the Log Den near Egg Harbor. Cooper, who was arrested without incident, was taken to the Door County Jail pending issuance of formal charges by the Door County District Attorney.
