Green Bay Man Arrested After Fight in Sturgeon Bay

A 32-year old Green Bay man was arrested shortly after midnight Saturday after an altercation outside a west side Sturgeon Bay bar. Two people were injured in the fight which included the use of a knife. Officers sent to the scene found several people fighting outside of the bar. As they approached, two men ran from the scene, but were later arrested near the Bridgeport Resort. Officers learned that the fracas started when the Brown County man & his girlfriend argued outside the bar. A short time later, the Green Bay man started fighting with three other men. During the altercation, a knife was pulled & at least one man sustained a superficial cut. Another individual was reportedly punched in the melee. The injured parties were treated at the scene. The Green Bay man was taken to the Door County jail on multiple citations including a probation violation, possession of marijuana & drug paraphernalia, battery,recklessly endangering safety, & disorderly conduct.
