Gibraltar Superintendent to Retire

WDOR News has learned that Doctor Stephan Seyfer, superintendent of the Gibraltar school district, has announced his decision to retire at the end of the current school year. Seyfer informed the school board of his decision at the board of education meeting Monday night. The board accepted the announcement with regret. He began his tenure at the school in Fish Creek in July of 1997. Prior to that, he was a high school principal at Whitefish Bay. The school board has scheduled a special meeting for 4PM Tuesday, December 20th to discuss planning for the search for a replacement for superintendent Seyfer.
