Funds Available for Businesses on Detour

The Door County Economic Development Corporation is calling on Sturgeon Bay businesses that qualify to take advantage of $140,000 of the city’s revolving loan fund intended to provide loans for exterior facade & storefront improvements for businesses located along the official detour route of Highway 42/57. The detour is expected to be set up as part of a project that will close the Bayview Bridge during the spring & early summer of 2013. The micro loan program provides an incentive to businesses to upgrade the appearance of their facilities in anticipation of significantly increased traffic. Eligible businesses must be physically located within one block of the official Department of Transportation detour route for Highway 42/57. Contact Bill Chaudoir or Sam Perlman of the Door County Economic Development Corporation for information & assistance with the loan program.
