You’ll have a chance to meet all of the candidates for Door County Sheriff at a forum put on by the League of Women Voters of Door County Wednesday evening. The purpose of the forum is to acquaint the public with the candidates & hear their positions on issues of importance. All but one of the candidates will be on the ballot for the primary election in August. The five officers running for Door County Sheriff will meet for a 7PM forum at the Jacksonport Town Hall. Democrat Tammy Sternard & Republicans Steve Delarwelle, Jeff Farley, Chris Neuville & Carl Waterstreet will answer questions screened by the League of Women Voters. Time will also be set aside after the forum for audience-members to meet the candidates one-on-one.
