The Egg Harbor Village Board has announced that it has engaged the services of former Door County Administrator Michael Serpe to help insure the orderly transition to a new clerk/treasurer. Serpe, who will act in a consulting capacity for the next 90 days will also oversee the implementation of new computer software & systems. He brings 30 years of public sector experience to the village & will report to the board on the progress of financial software implementation, personnel matters, 2013 budget preparation &, if necessary, matters dealing with transition & replacement.
