Forestville Cherry Grower Elected to Wisconsin Cherry Board

The 2021 election results for the Wisconsin Cherry Board have just been announced, and starting today Terry Sorenson from the Town of Forestville and Barry Peterson of Green Bay have just begun a 3-year term as elected members of the board. The Wisconsin Cherry Board is composed of 5 members who collectively administer Wisconsin’s cherry marketing order. They oversee the collection and use of approximately $50,000 in assessment fees paid by Wisconsin cherry growers. New board member Terry Sorenson is the owner of Soren’s Valhalla Orchards on County Road ā€œJā€ in the Town of Forestville.
