Fire & Ice in Sturgeon Bay

The Sturgeon Bay Visitor Center kicks off its season of promotions with the annual “Fire & Ice” celebration this weekend. One of the highlights of the event is the ice carving competition during the day Saturday. Large chunks of ice will be transformed into works of art at more than a dozen locations throughout the city. Take a free trolley ride to check them out from 11:30AM until 2PM. Judging is at 2PM & the awards ceremony s at 3PM near the Visitor Center’s offices off of South 3rd Avenue. Don’t forget to cast your ballot for the people’s choice award. A great time is also anticipated Saturday evening at the “Fire & Ice” dinner dance & silent auction.
