Emergency Vehicle Fun Day Sunday

The Door County Sheriff’s Department is hoping mother nature cooperates for Sunday’s Emergency Vehicle Fun Day, from 11AM to 3PM, at the Cherryland Airport. This is the fourth consecutive year that the event has been sponsored by the sheriff’s department in conjunction with several other emergency agencies & groups. Door County Juvenile Investigator Chris Neuville says he got the idea for the fun day by remembering his fascination with law enforcement gear during visits with his uncle, a Two Rivers police officer. Neuville says visitors will find plenty of examples of vehicles, equipment & personnel who serve & protect around the clock, year in & year out. Neuville says food & beverages will also be sold during the day. Once again, the Emergency Vehicle Fun Day is set for Sunday, from 11AM to 3PM, at the Cherryland Airport near Sturgeon Bay.
