Emergency Services Investigating Disaster Assistance for Storm Damage

The Door County Emergency Services Department is investigating the scope and damages related to the storm that hit the peninsula September 4th, from within the Door County business community to determine if the county is eligible for disaster assistance. Department Director Dan Williams is asking individuals to fill out a disaster assessment form. To insure that everyone gets a chance to do so, the deadline to submit the form has been extended to Monday, September 29th. Williams says the information will need to be fairly accurate and supported by information from sources like contractors, suppliers or others.
