Egg Harbor Named a Bird City

The Village of Egg Harbor is one of six communities in Wisconsin to be saluted by “Bird City Wisconsin” for their long-term commitment to working with residents to make their neighborhoods a better place for people, birds & other wildlife to live. The organization has now recognized 66 cities, villages, towns & counties since its launch in December of 2010. Modeled after the “Tree City USA” program, “Bird City Wisconsin” has developed 22 conservation criteria across five categories. If a community meets at least seven criteria, it can be recognized as an official “Bird City.”
