This year marks the 50th anniversary of the opening of the Eagle Bluff Lighthouse to the public in September of 1963 after years of restoration work. The lighthouse, now also a museum, was constructed in 1868. Staff is planning a number of activities for the year, including special theme tours, as well as a few surprises. The Eagle Bluff Lighthouse Museum is located in Peninsula State Park. A state park visitor sticker is needed in order to check out a tour from mid-May through late October.
