Three utility poles were snapped off Friday afternoon in an accident involving a low hanging wire & a dump truck. According to the accident report, the dump truck was traveling on County Trunk F near Maple Grove Road East, in the Town of Gibraltar. The back of the vehicle, which had been left partially in the up position snagged the wires hanging over the highway, snapping off three consecutive poles owned by Wisconsin Public Service Corporation. The accident also affected Frontier Communications Cable on the utility poles.
