Two way traffic in downtown Sister Bay has returned as of Wednesday. The job is not finished, but both lanes on Bayshore Drive(Highway 42) are moving. Restoration work & landscaping & other minor items must still be completed. Sister Bay Village Administrator Zeke Jackson said that now that the downtown project is winding down, two other jobs in the village need to be done. Work will begin right after Memorial Day on Scandia Road from Highway 42 to Woodcrest Road & on Woodcrest Road from Scandia Road to Highway ZZ. The road will be kept open during construction but motorists will encounter loose gravel, lane closures & construction traffic, so use caution if you are in those areas. These two jobs should take about a month to complete.
