Residents & interested business people joined representatives of the Wisconsin Department of Transportation at the Baileys Harbor Town Hall for a public meeting Tuesday evening to discuss proposed improvements to Highway 57, from South of County Q in Baileys Harbor to Highway 42 in Sister Bay. The proposed work includes milling & resurfacing of the existing roadway, replacing the existing structure at Mudd Creek, located between Cedar & Meadow Roads, & replacing culvert pipes. Other maintenance improvements such as spot grading to improve drainage & providing space for adequate snow storage are also planned. The project is planned for August to November of 2016.
