A contingent of about 100 residents of Door & Kewaunee Counties will descend on Madison this week as part of a biennial lobbying effort. The sixth installment of the Door/Kewaunee County Legislative Days is set for Wednesday & Thursday at the state capitol. The group hopes to build on the success of previous visits & educate legislators about local needs. The itinerary includes delegate meetings with select state agencies, a luncheon meeting with area legislators, meetings between delegates & other state legislators, a reception, a fishboil & entertainment. Thursday’s events include a breakfast meeting & delegate meetings with state agencies. The sixth biennial Door/Kewaunee County Legislative Days is being coordinated by the Door County Economic Development Corporation.
