Door & Kewaunee County Election Results

Balloting in Door & Kewaunee Counties featured only one contested race locally, one referendum & the race for the 1st District Assembly Seat.

The contested race was for Kewaunee County Clerk, where Jamie Annoye won with 5,385 votes over Julie Siegmund had 4,113 votes & incumbent Linda Teske who mounted a write in campaign finished with 1,205 votes.

In the Gibraltar School District again approved an override of the state imposed revenue cap, 2,851 YES votes to 1,409 NO votes. The favorable voting essentially gives the board of education permission to continue the override on a recurring basis, meaning there probably won’t be a referendum to vote on again in the near future.

Incumbent Garey Bies narrowly defeated challenger Patrick Veeser, 16,976 to 16,106 votes for the State Assembly seat in district 1.
