Door County Reads Begins Monday

The 2015 version of Door County Reads, sponsored by the county library system, its foundation and friends, kicks off its run Monday with a special celebration in Fish Creek. This year, the book chosen to read is entitled “Ordinary Grace” by William Kent Krueger. Library Director Becca Berger says the annual event takes a look at literature in a multi-faceted way…

Door County Reads began its life as The Big Read, with funding provided by the National Endowment for the Arts. The program focused on classic novels. Berger says, in recent years, the effort has been to read books by living authors…
