Door County Historical Museum Celebrates 75 Years

The Door County Historical Museum is celebrating 75 years of service in 2014. The museum, at the corner of 4th Avenue & Michigan Street in Sturgeon Bay, dubbed the “Best Small Museum in the Midwest” by the Chicago Tribune, has gone through many incarnations during the past seven decades, but curator Maggie Weir says it’s all about Door County these days…[audio:https://wdor.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/N787.mp3|titles=Maggie Weir]

There’s no cost to visit the Door County Historical Museum which is open daily from 10AM to 4PM through October 31st.
