Door County Beer Festival Exceeds Expectations

There’s no doubt that the first Door County Beer Festival accomplished what it set out to do. The event last Saturday attracted close to 1,200 people to Baileys Harbor for a day of celebrating craft beer, local food & great music. McMahon praised the Town of Baileys Harbor for its cooperation & for providing a great backdrop for the 140 craft beers, seminars, local food vendors & three great bands. Kevin Frost of Menominee won the “Robert “Doc” Wahl Cup” as Best in Show winner of the Door County Home Brewing Championships, which featured more than 70 entries from around the country. George Bregar & Shawn Bigelow of Milwaukee took home five medals.
