Interim Door County Administrator Grant Thomas has released the names of three county administrator candidates who will be interviewed by a county board committee Friday. All three are village administrators, Josh Vanlieshout from Egg Harbor, Maureen Murphy of Slinger & Charles “Chuck” Kell from Little Chute. A fourth candidate dropped out of the running. The county’s administrative committee will meet with each candidate for first round interviews Friday. Once a top candidate is selected, a majority of the full county board must approve the recommendation. Nine candidates expressed interest in the job which opened up with the dismissal of Michael Serpe in March.
