Developer Considering “Substantial Changes” to Hotel Plan

The Sturgeon Bay Waterfront Design Review Board was scheduled to meet Friday to consider a proposed hotel located on the former Door County Cooperative property at 92 East Maple Street, but the meeting has been postponed. The session was intended to review the building design for the proposed lodging facility, but developer Bob Papke requested the postponement. In making his request, Papke indicated that substantial changes in the “Lindgren Hotel” as a result of public input. A new meeting date has not yet been established.
