An invitation is being extended for qualified women to participate in the Miss Door County program. Those hoping to become Miss Door county must be 17 to 24 years old. They will be judged in the areas of interview, talent, evening wear, & swimsuit. The winner will compete for the title of Miss Wisconsin 2015. Young women between the ages of 13 and 17, who are not yet high school seniors, can compete for the outstanding teen crown. The entry fee is $250 which can be sponsored and the winner will compete at the Miss Wisconsin Teen competition in Oshkosh. Competition areas include interview, evening gown, talent, & active wear. The local pageant will be held on the afternoon of the Miss Door County pageant.
The Miss Door County Princess program is a mentoring program for girls between the ages of five and eight. The entry fee is $75. Entry forms for the three Miss Door County programs are available at Concepts Bridal and Formal Wear in downtown Sturgeon Bay or the Cut Hut at 28 West Oak Street, also Sturgeon Bay.
