The Door County Economic Development Corporation board of directors has announced that the deadline for submitting nominations for the annual Door County Industry & Entrepreneur of the Year awards has been extended to Friday, February 24th. The awards celebrate businesses that help to create a positive business climate in Door County. The award winners will be announced at the annual meeting of the DCEDC this spring. This year marks the 39th consecutive year that the “Industry of the Year” award will be handed out. In 2011, the honor went to Wiretech Fabricators. Last year, Dale & Kristin Seaquist & Kim & Robin Seaquist, owners of Seaquist Orchards, were honored as Door County “Entrepreneurs of the Year.”
