Committee Narrows DC Administrator Search

A committee of the Door County Board could select the top candidate for Door County Administrator at its meeting Tuesday morning. The Administrative Committee, which meets at 9AM at the Government Center in Sturgeon Bay, is expected to go behind closed doors to discuss the results of interviews involving three candidates, Josh Vanlieshout of Egg Harbor, Chuck Kell of Little Chute & Maureen Murphy of Slinger. The position opened up in March after Michael Serpe was dismissed. In the meantime, Door County Corporation Counsel Grant Thomas has been working as Interim County Administrator. If the committee settles on a top candidate for the position, a recommendation will be included as part of the agenda for the August 28th meeting of the full Door County Board.
