The case of a Sturgeon Bay man charged with multiple counts of possession of child pornography and invasion of privacy continued with an arraignment in Door County circuit court Monday. However, it’s likely that 37-year old Steven Link will eventually face the charges in federal court. That’s the assessment of Door County District Attorney Ray Pelrine who indicated that, if that was the case, he would move to dismiss all of the local charges. As things stand now, Link, whose attorney entered a not guilty plea to the ten charges, is scheduled to return to Door County circuit court in December. He stands accused of videotaping people using a bathroom at his book store in downtown Sturgeon Bay and five felony counts of possessing child pornography. Another Sturgeon Bay man arrested along with link, 26-year old Kory Murphy, faces two counts of possession of child pornography, both felonies. His next court date is Monday, November 3rd. Both men were arrested in September.
