During the last few months, the Sturgeon Bay Police Department conducted a change in its command structure. They eliminated the position of Lieutenant while creating the position of Assistant Police Chief to be more in-line with other departments across the state. Chief of Police Clint Henry has informed us that this morning the decision was made to promote police Captain Dan Brinkman to the new position of Assistant Chief of Police. This promotion now vacates the Captain position, and Chief Clint Henry says they hope to fill that position in the next few weeks.
