The first of three candidate forums, sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Door County, is set for Tuesday, February 11th at the Southern Door High School library. The 7PM forum features candidates for the Southern Door board of education, incumbent Pamela Parks & Jerry Paul Frank, Dean Gerend, Heidi Gutschow, Dustin Miller, Katie Schnorr, Kelly Tassoul, & Mike Toneys. The forum is not a debate. It consists of anonymous written questions & offers the public an opportunity to ask questions & get a better idea of who the best candidates are. Three seats on the Southern Door school board will be contested in the April election. A primary for the spring election will be held on February 18th. The other Door County forums will be held in March.
