The League of Women Voters of Door County has announced that a candidate forum for Sturgeon Bay residents in the first aldermanic district will be held on Thursday, February 5th. The forum will be held in the city council chambers, beginning at 7PM. The candidates hoping to compete for the position on April 7th include incumbent Dan Wiegand and challengers Gerald Pelrine and Kelly Catarozoli. A primary election is planned for February 17th. The forum is not a debate. Questions will be submitted and screened by league volunteers before the candidates are questioned. Time to meet the candidates is also set aside. The forum will be recorded and aired on the Sturgeon Bay public access channel. It will also be available online.
