Budget Hearing for Sturgeon Bay Tuesday

A public hearing on the proposed 2015 Sturgeon Bay city budget will be held on Tuesday, November 11th at 4PM during a special meeting of the city council. The nearly $22.4 million budget features a tax levy, as proposed, of $6,090,992. During the meeting, members of the public will be given time to comment on the budget, as proposed, before the council begins it’s own deliberations. The level of taxation paid by city residents will depend on the school district they live in, Sturgeon Bay, Southern Door or Sevastopol.
