Members of the Boys & Girls Club of Door County have been busy this summer creating a business plan for running a lemonade stand. The youngsters have been keeping their math and reading skills strong while developing skills that will help them in a business setting. They will put those skills to the test Friday by setting up and running lemonade stands throughout the city of Sturgeon Bay.
The stands will be located in Sawyer Park, Econo Foods, Pick -n-Save, The Draft Haus, Bay Pharmacy, and FLS Banners. All of the stands will be staffed with adults to ensure the youngsters’ safety and good behavior. The Boys & Girls Club lemonade stands will be open from 11:30am until 1pm Friday.
