The American Red Cross is expressing appreciation to the individuals who turned out for the two day blood drive in Sturgeon Bay this week. After closing up shop Tuesday, the tally sheet showed a two day total of 150 pints of blood. The totals for the visit to Saint Peter’s Lutheran Church on Sturgeon Bay’s west side included 98 pints of blood accepted on Monday & another 52 pints taken Tuesday. Both numbers exceeded the goal for the day. Organizers of the blood drive are also pleased that so many “regulars” continued to give the gift of life by donating blood.
