Baileys Harbor Fire Department July 4th Pancake Breakfast Returns

Like many other community events last summer, the Baileys Harbor annual July 4th Pancake Breakfast was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Sunday, however, the community really came out to welcome back this special event which helps the local fire department with non-funded operating costs. Fire Chief Brian Zak reports that from 7:30 to 10:45 AM his crew served 956 breakfasts to hungry friends, families, and visitors who all were happy to see the event return. Fire Chief Zak mentioned how it was really a great turnout, and that after last year’s cancellation many people were just very anxious to get out and rejoin community events such as this.
