Motorists & neighbors will be able to travel down a segment of north 4th Avenue in Sturgeon Bay now that a road project encompassing a block & a half of the street has been completed. The project, which covered 1200 feet of roadway, began at Jefferson Street & featured a total makeover including the installation of sewer, water & storm sewer, curb & gutter, sidewalk, & trees. The work started at the end of May. According to the city’s five year capital improvements plan, another stretch of north 4th Avenue is scheduled for a similar project in 2014.
