The Algoma girls basketball team stayed undefeated after a 54-41 win at DePere on Tuesday Night. DePere took their only lead in the first quarter at 10-9, only to see the Wolves respond with a 13-1 run. After leading 27-20 at the half, Algoma kept the full court pressure on the taller Redbirds, eventually building a 50-32 lead. Lindsey Kirchman finished with 20 points for Algoma (6-0), while Karissa LeCaptain scored 11 and Taylor Schmidt and Kennedy Blahnik each finished with 8. DePere (4-4) was led by Alayna Cotter’s 16 points.
