Wolves Survive Clippers Rally

Algoma beat Sturgeon Bay 51-46 in a boys Packerland Conference basketball game on Tuesday Night.  The Clippers used a 7-0 run to close the first quarter only to see the Wolves answer with a 13-0 run to start the second quarter and then held the lead for the rest of the game.  Sturgeon Bay closed to within 44-42 in the 4th quarter but could get no closer.  Hunter Prokash had a game high 16 points to lead Algoma (7-2, 10-6) while Eliot Prokash and Devin Kostichka each added 10 points.  Matthew Van Bramer scored 12 points to lead Sturgeon Bay (3-4, 6-8).
