The Algoma girls basketball team closed the first half on a 6-0 run and then scored the first 12 points of the second half to take control of their WIAA Division 4 regional game at Southern Door, beating the Eagles 48-34. Riley Zimmerman finished with 13 points and hit a pair of three pointers to start the rally, Brooke Mattson and Emily Kirchman had 10 each and Amelia Robinson scored all eight of her points in the second half. Allianna Dufek led the Ealges (14-11) with 15 points. The Wolves will play at top seeded Crandon on Friday Night.
