Algoma opened the 2013 high school football season with a 33-13 win over Sturgeon Bay at Perry Field on Friday Night. The Clippers scored on their opening possession as Matthew Van Bramer threw a touchdown pass to Ross Wierzba and led 13-6 after a Lucas Stephenson 4 yard td run. But the Wolves led 20-13 at the half as Hunter Prokash connected with Elliott Prokash for the go ahead td with :23 seconds to play in the first half. Hunter Prokash ran for two touchdowns in the 4th quarter for Algoma while Sam Koss and Ben Sealey also had touchdowns for the Wolves.
