Wolves Pull Away From Storm

The Algoma girls basketball team moved into a tie for first in the Packerland Conference after a 61-45 win over Kewaunee on Thursday Night.  With the game tied at 40 to start the fourth quarter, the Wolves went on an 11-0 run the take control of the game.  Kewaunee’s first points of the 4th quarter came with 3:38 to play.  Karissa LeCaptain led Algoma (11-1, 19-1) with 16 points while Lindsey Kirchman scored 12 and Amanda Mura added 10 points.  Kewaunee (11-1, 15-4) was led by Jill Kleiman who scored a game high 21 points.
