Wolves beat Clippers

The Algoma girls basketball team beat Sturgeon Bay, 36-31, in a girls Packerland Conference basketball game on Tuesday. The Wolves (3-5, 5-7) opened a 24-13 lead early in the second half but the Clippers (3-4, 5-7) used a 10-0 run to get back into the game. Algoma was able to get baskets from Ericka Berger and Halle Panger late in the game to seal the win. Chloie Spitzer finished with a game high 16 points for the Wolves while Sarah Bridenhagen scored 14 for Sturgeon Bay.
