Sturgeon Bay’s Tre Wienke shot an 81 at the Division 2 Luxemburg-Casco regional on Tuesday and will advance to the sectionals next Tuesday at Seymour. The Spartans finished in third place and have also qualified for sectionals. James Glampe fired a 76 to lead LC.
Evan Maccaux of Kewaunee took medalist honors at the Division 3 Howards Grove regional. Maccaux shot a 78, followed by Finn Salm (Gibraltar) and Finley LaVine (Southern Door) shot at 80 and Sevastopol’s Chase Kanapka and have also qualified for sectionals at Waupun. Kewaunee finished in third place as a team and also qualified for sectionals.
Track & Field
Chilton won the girls team title with 125 points and Southern Door was second with 116.66 points at the Division 2 Chilton Regional. Luxemburg-Casco won the boys team title with 137.50 points followed by Denmark withy 132 points. Mason Trimberger (110 Hurdles, 300 Hurdles) and Kyan Lynts (1600, 3200) won two events to lead the Spartans. The top 4 finishers in each event will compete at sectionals on Friday.
