Sister Bay remains undefeated in the Door County League after four weeks while Kolberg and West Jacksonports are tied for second. Egg Harbor and Institute are both at .500. Maplewood and Washington Island each have a win in four games and Baileys Harbor is the lone winless team.
West Jacksonport blanked Baileys Harbor, 2-0. Tanner Biwer (3-0) tossed a four-hit shutout for West Jacksonport (3-1). Woody Schartner was 3-for-4 for the Ports. Griffin Cole’s first inning triple was the lone extra base hit for Baileys Harbor (0-4). Brett Anschutz (0-2) took the loss.
Institute beat Maplewood, 11-3. Institute (2-2) led 2-1 after the first inning and never trailed. Aaron Ash had three of the Cubs eight hits. Ash drove in three runs. Kyle Volkmann (1-2) pitched the first seven for the win. Adam Schubert had four hits to lead Maplewood (1-3) and Chad LaLuzerne added three. Kyle Ploor (0-1) took the loss.
Kolberg beat Washington Island, 15-7. Kolberg (3-1) sent 13 to the plate in the third, scoring nine runs to take a 10-1 lead. Eric Lardinois and Jeff Sperber each had four hits with Sperber driving in four runs. Travis LeRoy added three hits for the Braves. Winning pitcher Joseph Omilinsky (3-1) worked into the seventh. Caleb Cornell had four hits to lead Washington Island (1-3). Troy Jorgenson (1-2) took the loss.

Sister Bay beat Egg Harbor, 12-4. All nine starters had a hit for Sister Bay (4-0) and seven different players drove in a run. Matt Hecht had three hits including a three-run homer. Sam Forkert (4-0) pitched the first six for the win. Eric DeJardine and Matt Ash each had two hits for Egg Harbor (2-2). Dave Jilot (1-1) took the loss.
