The Gibraltar girls basketball team moved into sole possession of third place in the Packerland Conference standings after a 59-51 win over Southern Door on Tuesday Night in Fish Creek. The Vikings (6-2, 7-4) led 22-21 when they went on a 16-4 run and the Eagles (5-3, 7-5) would get no closer than five points the rest of the night. Payton Pluff scored a game high 21 points for Gibraltar, Abbi Sitte added 14 while Karlee Kita and Sophia Alexander added 8 each. Grace LeGrave led Southern Door with 13 points while Hailey Shimon scored 12 and Tehya Bertrand added 10 each. Gibraltar has won six consecutive games.
