Tritons Edge Storm

Notre Dame’s Aiden Wolfram kicked a 39 yard field goal with :11 seconds to play as the Triton’s beat Kewaunee, 22-20, in Green Bay on Friday Night. The Storm (2-1) had an early lead after Mitchell Thompson threw a 55 yard td strike to Alex Rohr on the opening play of the game and following an Anthony Jerabek interception, Jack Severin raced 41 yards to pay dirt for a 14-0 lead with 8:11 to play. The Tritons closed to within 14-13 at the half as Will Zellner scored on td runs of 4 and 18 yards. Notre Dame (3-0) took their first lead of the game with 8:53 to play on Zellner’s third score of the night but Kewaunee answered with an 80 yard scoring drive that ended with a 9 yard td pass from Thompson to Rohr with 3:09 remaining, setting the stage for the game winning field goal.
