Denmark beat Ahnapee, 6-0, in a Fox River Valley East Division American Legion baseball game in Denmark on Monday. Pitchers Jack Satori and Derek Umentum combined on a four hit shutout and Umentum added 3 hits in the win. Denmark added to their 1-0 lead with three runs in the bottom of the 5th inning and then two more in the 6th to pull away for the win. Derik LeCaptain had two hits for Ahnapee and Adam Gutschow doubled. Gutschow pitched the first five innings (4 runs/5 hits) with Jaeger Brusky pitching the final inning for Ahnapee.
