Sturgeon Bay’s Gunner Tebon has won the 2011 DWT AMA ATV Motocross Championship. Jeff Tebon says that they had locked up the title in the series previous race in Michigan, but there were some tense moments this weekend in Tennessee….

Gunner, who’s 10 years old and entering the 4th grade in Sturgeon Bay, was happy to have won the championship….

The series took the Tebon’s to tracks as far away as Georgia and New York. The historical Loretta Lynn’s ranch in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee was the final stop on the series….

Tebon added that the plans are for Gunner to defend his title in 2012.
