Rabach Steps Down as Sturgeon Bay AD

Sturgeon Bay Athletic Director Gary Rabach has announced that his final day with the district will be May 9th.  Earlier this year, Rabach had said that he would no longer be the schools football coach but would continue in his role as Athletic Director and Police Liaison officer.  But he said that after a recent visit to his new home in Arizona, he received a job offer from a private security firm there and will be leaving Sturgeon Bay.  Rabach talked about his memories from running the athletic program at Sturgeon Bay….[audio:http://wdor.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/04/gary1.mp3|titles=Gary Rabach]
When it comes to finding his replacement, Rabach said that it was unclear how the district will proceed.  But for the final month of the current school year, district Superintendent  Joe Stutting will serve as athletic director…..[audio:http://wdor.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/04/gary2.mp3|titles=Gary Rabach]
As football coach, Rabach led the Clippers to the 2004 Division 4 State Championship with a 21-14 win over Saint Francis.
