Sevastopol beat Oneida Nation, 45-28, in a girls Division 5 sectional semi-final game at Manitowoc on Thursday. The Pioneers (23-4) got off to a slow start, trailing 9-1 before they made their first field goal with 11:41 left in the half and they took their first lead at 13-12. Sevastopol finished the half on a 27-4 run and the Lady Thunderhawks were unable to get closer than 10 points the rest of the game. Kayla Ranly score 16, Naomi Rikkola added 13 while Sadie Rikkola and Addison Schauske combined to make five three pointers. Sevastopol will take their 18 game winning streak into the sectional final when they play top ranked Wisconsin Rapids Assumption (26-1) at Waupaca at 7:00.
