Northern Door Wins, Nekoosa next

The Northern Door Legion team stayed alive Thursday at the Class A State American Legion baseball tournament at Richland Center. The Chiefs & Wisconsin Dells played to a 1-1 tie through six innings when lightning delayed the game for over an hour. After scoring just three runs in their first two games, Manager Mark Sawyer hopes the offense come around on Friday….

With the win, the Chiefs advance to play Friday afternoon at 4:30PM against Nekoosa¬†at Richland Center. We’ll have the broadcast of Friday’s Northern Door Legion game on 93.9FM, WDOR. Again the final Northern Door 2, Wisconsin Dells 1, the game won by Griffin Cole’s walk off home run in the bottom of the 8th inning.
